About FCR
The Fun Country Riding Club of Strathmore was incorporated in November 1988 but has existed since 1979 under the name Fun Country Riders.
It was formed to promote fellowship, education, sportsmanship, competition and general family recreation through the use of horses.
We try to encourage members to improve riding skills and training levels of their horses, with a particular emphasis on our children and young people.
Every year there are 12 shows/gymkhanas, we ride in the Strathmore Heritage Days Parade, have an annual trail ride (Messa Butte/Kananaskis), and have many clinics and seminars.
Fees:
$15.00 single membership $30.00 family membership
Membership in the Alberta Equestrian Federation is required for insurance purposes.
Cost in the AEF is $50 for a single or $110 for a family.
